Kokedama Building Class

August 31, 2024 | 9:30 am - 11:30 am @ Lanoha Nurseries

Join our expert staff as we demonstrate how to build a Japanese Kokedama. In this hands-on planting seminar, you’ll learn how to combine form, texture, and shape; and become successful with your creations!

Kokedama is the Japanese art of placing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil. The term comes from the Japanese words “koke” meaning moss, and “dama” meaning ball. It is closely related to the art of bonsais, and is an aesthetically pleasing way to grow a plant! Join us for this fun and creative seminar!

Guests will receive a $20 voucher to be used towards your completed project. Pick from a wide variety of containers to display your finished piece, 4″ houseplants, and add-ins for a special touch. This event is beginner-friendly and all ages are welcome. Sign up here online or call the Garden Center at 402.289.1788 to register.
