We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our Commercial Landscape Division. In this critical role, you will develop comprehensive, accurate estimates based on preliminary and final designs. You will represent a division that prides itself on securing the vast majority of high-profile commercial landscape projects across the region.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Design, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Bluebeam, Procore, BuildingConnected, and the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant and hardscape materials, civil-related scopes, and the commercial bidding process.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of professional diplomacy.
- Attributes: A self-starter with an acute attention to detail and a commitment to work that exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Estimating & Quotations: Develop accurate and competitive estimates; utilize estimating software to prepare formal quotations and submittals.
- Plan Analysis: Perform electronic plan take-offs and interpret complex civil construction plans and specifications.
- Project Administration: Manage change orders and provide essential technical support to field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly within a fast-paced, high-urgency team environment to meet strict bidding deadlines.
