Lanoha Nurseries Inc is looking to add a Landscape Sprinkler Technician to support our ever-growing landscaping team. This Landscape Sprinkler Technician will specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for residential, commercial, and public landscapes. This role is essential in ensuring efficient water use and healthy landscape environments by keeping sprinkler systems operating at peak performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Considerable knowledge in the field of irrigation, installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Ability to diagnose problems with electrical meters and pumps; necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain all systems in proper working conditions
- Ability to operate various pieces of maintenance equipment such as skid loader, trencher, etc.
- Ability to work as a team and ability to work independently on assignments
- Flexibility with schedule, overtime, and Saturdays if needed through peak landscape install seasons
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems for landscape projects for residential and commercial properties, excluding turf irrigation.
- Make necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain all systems are in proper working condition.
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshooting exercises.
- Commercial sprinkler installations and maintenance with some Residential install support as well.
- Ensure all work adheres to company policies and safety guidelines.
- Communication with clients/contractors regarding system operations, maintenance schedules, and service calls. Provide recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations. Complete all necessary paperwork, including job orders, reports, and logs.
- Other landscaping and campus maintenance duties assigned
